Questions we get asked

Can we use an off-the-shelf booking tool instead?

If your slots are simple and your volume is low, yes, and we will tell you which to look at. Custom pays off when your availability rules are unusual, when it must connect to systems you already run, or when per-booking fees have outgrown the build cost.

What stops two people booking the same slot?

The slot is locked when the first person selects it, not when they finish paying, and the database enforces it rather than the interface. This is the single most important thing to get right and the most commonly skipped.
