Why we exist

Plenty of agencies will build what you ask for. Fewer will tell you that what you asked for will not help. We started Systemcraft because we kept meeting businesses who had paid for software that nobody opened after launch week.

So we work backwards from use. Before we quote anything, we want to know whose day gets easier and how you will know. If we cannot answer that, we say so and we do not take the project.

How we work

Scoping before code. We map the flow and agree what is out of scope, in writing, before anyone opens an editor.
Weekly working software. You see something running every week. No month-nine reveal.
Numbers before and after. For anything about speed or cost, we record the starting figure and compare it at the end.
Your code, your repository. Full handover with documentation and deployment access. No licence, no lock-in.

What we will tell you no about

Automating a process that is wrong — we fix the process on paper first
AI where a form, a rule or an index would do the same job cheaper
A rewrite when a targeted fix would get you further
Architecture for a million users when you have a thousand

Saying no to those costs us revenue in the short term and keeps us worth calling in the long term.

Where we are

We work in English and Bahasa Indonesia, mostly with businesses in Indonesia, and remotely with teams elsewhere. Most engagements start with a conversation rather than a proposal.

Questions we get asked

How big is the team?

Small and senior, which is why we take a limited number of projects at a time. If we cannot give yours proper attention in the timeframe you need, we will tell you rather than queue you quietly.

Do you work with fixed prices?

For clearly scoped work, yes. For anything exploratory, a fixed price either costs you too much or forces us to cut corners, so we scope a discovery phase first and price the build after it.
